FOR CLIENTS OF THE DELANEY AGENCY

Thirty minutes on your retirement, your taxes, and what you’ll leave behind.

You’ve already covered your family if something happens to you. This is the part nobody sat you down for. One specialist, half an hour, and a written summary you keep.

TWO MINUTE VIDEO

The same film that sits in the email.

Three subjects. The specialist works out which one is yours.

They read all three against what you’re actually trying to do, then tell you which to deal with first and why. Often more than one applies. Often it isn’t the one people expect.

01

Retirement

Whether what you’re putting aside will get you where you want to be.

02

Taxes

How much of what you earn and save you get to keep.

03

Protecting what you’re building

Your home, your savings, and what you’ll pass on.

You leave knowing what to deal with first, and why it comes before the rest.

2

Thirty minutes, one to one

One financial strategy specialist works through all three against your goals, not just the one you asked about. You’ll see who you’re booking with before you confirm.

3

You leave with a clear view

Where you stand on each one, what they’d deal with first if it were them, and why. Yours to keep, whatever you decide to do next.

Who you’d be talking to

Three financial strategy specialists run these sessions.

Questions

If yours is not here, the number at the top of the page reaches a person.

Who is Prosperity Desk?

Prosperity Desk is The Delaney Agency, LLC, running under a different name for the side of the business that does education and client conversations rather than applications. Same company, same people, same office in Asheville.
If you would rather speak to someone before you book anything, call (828) 974-4195.

Why am I being invited?

You hold cover arranged through The Delaney Agency. Everyone on the books gets the offer of this session. It's the part of the relationship that tends to get skipped once the paperwork is done, so we set aside time for it properly.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The session is free, and it stays free whether or not you do anything afterwards.
Nobody is paid for running it. There's no fee, no bill, and nothing attached to holding the conversation.

What do we cover in the half hour?

Three things: what you'll live on when you stop working, how much of what you earn and save you actually keep once tax is accounted for, and what happens to your home and savings when you're gone.
You don't have to pick one. The specialist reads all three against what you're actually trying to do, then tells you which to deal with first and why. Often more than one applies, and often it isn't the one people expected walking in.

What should I bring?

Nothing. Turn up with questions, or with none at all. Working out what you need is the specialist's job, not yours.
If you want to go into detail on something you already hold, having it to hand makes the half hour go further. But nobody will ask you to dig through a drawer before you can book.

Can I bring my spouse, or someone else?

Yes, and most people do. If someone else shares these decisions with you, or would be affected by them, the half hour is worth more with them in the room. Forward them the calendar invitation.

Is the session recorded?

Usually, yes. Sessions run on Zoom and are normally recorded so the specialist can write your summary up accurately. You'll be asked at the start and you can say no. If you say no, the session goes ahead unrecorded.
We don't use a recording of you in marketing unless you give us separate written permission for that specific use.

I already have an adviser. Should I still come?

Plenty of people who book already have someone. A second read on the same three questions costs you half an hour and tells you either that your plan holds up, or where the gaps are. You're welcome to take anything you hear back to your own adviser.

I’m nowhere near retiring. Is it still worth it?

The earlier the conversation happens, the more the answers are worth. Most of what gets discussed, what you're putting aside, how it's taxed, and what happens to it later, is far easier to change at forty than at sixty-five.

What happens after the session?

You get a short written summary of what you covered and what your options are. It's yours to keep. If you asked for numbers on anything, those come with it.

What if everything’s fine as it is?

Then you'll hear that, and you'll have it in writing. Plenty of people finish the session, find their plan holds up, and change nothing. That's a real outcome, not a wasted half hour.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Your confirmation email has a reschedule link that works right up to the start time. If you miss it, book again. Nobody's keeping score.

Can we meet if I’m outside North Carolina?

It stays with The Delaney Agency and the specialist you meet. We use it to run the session, send your summary, and contact you about the things you asked us to. We don't sell it. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
